- סָלָרִיןm. (salarium) pay, pension, salary. Lev. R. s. 34 והן מעלין לו ס׳ Ar. (ed. מזונות) they grant him a salary (for his services); Yalk. Prov. 946 סודרין (corr. acc.); Ab. dR. N., 2nd> vers., ch. XXX (ed. Schechter, p. 6 6) המלכות מעלה לו סליראוכ׳ (corr. acc., or סָלַרְיָא) the government grants him an annual pension. Ib. ch. XVIII (p. 38) שהיתה לו סלדיה בכלוכ׳ (corr. acc.) that he (Joiachin) had an annual grant.
